Phyllis Waldenberg

Phyllis Waldenberg

Phyllis Waldenberg, Hospitality and Volunteer Coordinator, has been actively involved with PLPA for the past four years. She is responsible for hospitality for concerts and special events, including the culinary needs for performers and recruitment of concert volunteers.

After raising their family in Montana, when their youngest child left for college in 1987, Phyllis and her husband, Glenn, fulfilled their long-time dream of moving to the Pacific Northwest. They traveled the area extensively, camping, boating, hiking, exploring and searching for their perfect place, from the gorgeous Cascades and Olympic Mountains to the beautiful beaches along the Salish Sea coast and beyond. Over the past 30 plus years, they have lived in Kirkland, Mukilteo, built a home on Whidbey Island and settled in Port Ludlow in 2003; according to Phyllis - their favorite place of all.

After moving to Port Ludlow, Phyllis and Glenn continued to work in the Seattle area, crossing the Puget Sound and commuting daily for about five years. Phyllis says it was worth it to be able to come home to this special place. Phyllis retired in 2007 as assistant project manager for a Seattle Real Estate development company. Once retired, Phyllis became active in the community, serving on homeowner association boards, the Port Ludlow Village Council, and the pastoral care committee of her church. She has been a life-long lover of music and the arts and feels fortunate to be part of PLPA that is so much appreciated by the Port Ludlow community.
