Peggy is PLPA's Vice President, she also chairs the
Communications Team and writes articles for the Port Ludlow Voice and other PLPA
media publicity.
While living in Indiana, she and her husband (Jeff) explored the Northwest extensively for a place to retire. After accidently stumbling on to Port Ludlow, they knew this was the place they wanted to be. In 2004 they built a home then moved out here permanently in 2007, continuing to work from home for the next 5 years. After retiring in 2012, Peggy tried her hand at several volunteer organizations, but it wasn't until she joined the PLPA Board of Directors in 2016 that she became hooked! 'My love of music, plus working with such a fantastic group of dedicated individuals, was irresistible.'
Peggy is a former nurse and Jeff is a retired Forrester from University of Washington. Throughout their married live, they have lived in five different states and lived overseas twice. They have two boys, Jason and Troy, and three grandkids, all whom have shown up on rare occasions at PLPA concerts. They try to do one big family camping trip a year. Peggy and Jeff feel that Port Ludlow is the perfect place to live as it enables them to pursue their love of outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, fishing, glamping, and rock hounding.
