Sharla Erich

Sharla ErichSharla Erich, overseas the operations of PLPA and is actively involved in recruiting new members to the Board of Directors and oversees recruitment of new members to the Board of Directors

In 2017 Sharla and her husband (Kevin) decided it was time for a change. Lured to the Pacific Northwest by the rugged beauty of both mountains and water, they explored several communities in Washington State before finding a beautiful and unique home in Port Ludlow. Boasting a tower atop 56 stairs with views from the treetops, Sharla, avid rock and mountain climber, was sold! Since then the Peninsula Tower House has served the community by providing house concerts and housing accommodations to PLPA artists and guests.

Sharla is a musician herself, playing both the piano and violin from a young age. She plays violin with the Port Townsend Symphony Orchestra and enjoys providing music for church and community events. Her love for and appreciation of music naturally drew her to PLPA. After attending one concert, both she and Kevin were so impressed with the quality of the musicians and the wonderful benefit provided to the community they became actively involved in PLPA, Sharla as a board member and Kevin as official photographer.

Sharla is currently a practicing Physical Therapist and Kevin, a retired hospital CEO. They have three adult children and 3 grandchildren. Sharla and Kevin have lived in Michigan, Illinois, Oregon, California and now Washington. They enjoy outdoor activities including hiking, biking, camping, boating and traveling the world.
