Marti Ducan is PLPA’s Marketing & Graphic Design Chair. She has served on the board for seventeen years.
I taught forty wonderful years in southern California before deciding to retire. I was Art Coordinator and Music Director for elementary grades the first twenty years. The second twenty were spent teaching middle school at San Diego’s School for the Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) where talented students were brilliantly creative.
My husband, Bob, and I have been fortunate to be able to travel through several European countries and RV across the country as well as through Canada and Alaska.
Now we couldn’t be happier in Port Ludlow. I grew up in Seattle so have been spoiled by the gorgeous evergreens and will always love being surrounded by them. The friendships we have made here in Port Ludlow will be cherished. Being on he RV Club board, working on the Voice as writer and photographer, serving on the Free Spirits board and the Port Ludlow Performing Arts board have been extremely fulfilling. I’ve learned a whole new craft while doing publicity for these organizations . . . Graphic Arts, and have practiced it on the PLPA board of directors for a delightful seventeen years. I am looking forward to a different role now, as liason for publicity on the PLPA board.
